2011 Book List

Since it is a new year (2011) it’s time to start a new list for my reading addiction. It was fun for me to list the titles and authors of the books that I have read. I actually found keeping a list very helpful especially when I am at the local bookstore and library or at the community book sale so that I won’t make the mistake of getting a book that I already have read. It’s madding to me that publisher’s will change the cover of a book in an attempt to sell more books. (yes – I know- it works!)  I can quickly check this list on my smart phone and see if I have read it or not.

The Other Side by JD Robb, Mary Blayney, Patricia Gaffney, Ruth Ryan Langan, and Mary Kay McComas

Went to the city for work and picked up some more books. Have not read these yet but I’m working on them and have a couple of them started.

Made to Stick by Chip Heath and Dan Heath – recommended by several people as something  good for sm businesses
Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson
Stretching by Bob Anderson – to help with my resolution to get more exercise in 2011!

I also bought the DVD of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. Curious to see how the film is and what happens in the third book by Steig Larsson. I’ve read the book version of  the series so now I’ll see how the movie compares.

And lastly – I got two Web Design Magazines that I can’t get at the local news stand locally (  oh – the joys of living in a small rural town). Always excited to get to the City and have a wider selection of magazines and trade news.

You’re the One by Judi McCoy – what can I say — This is the fourth day I’ve been quite sick and only light reading seems to be all that I can manage before sleep takes over.
